Valuable support for the Owner by the O&M supplier
As a part of mobilization the O&M supplier can provide valuable support to the owner. The support may include commenting the O&M documentation and the plant delivery from O&M and EHS perspective. Checking and storing of the delivered spare and ware parts can also be done by the O&M supplier.
Support to the O&M supplier
The proper mobilization requires among others that the facilities, information flow, trainings by the plant suppliers, and participating in the operation of the plant during commissioning are well coordinated facilitating optimal mobilization of the services. Successful Take Over requires that the O&M IT systems are fully functional, the required data is available, and work processes are planned, trained and in use.
O&M performance after Take Over and Commercial Operation Date (COD)
The workload of the O&M team is very high in the first year after COD. Familiarization of the plant is still ongoing, works on the punch list and warranty claims are ongoing and the first annual revision shall be planned and organized.
A professional support from the owner to the operator adds value also in the operational time.
